Buzz: It's #electionday

Tuesday, November 2, 2010

Tuesday, November 2, 2010. What's going to happen today? What will the poll results show? We're living in a very tense time... lot of political and social uproar. Maybe this is normal? I've only voted in two elections now (this one, and Election 2008), so I can't really say what's normal. I'm new on the political scene, and I know it. I do know that voting gives me a high. It makes me completely happy and proud to live in this country. Maybe the outcome won't be what I want it to be? I am a Conservative living in College Station, TX, so quite honestly it will probably go the way I want it to go (unless, of course, Chet Edwards figures out a way to be re-elected, something he's been doing since the time I was born!)

So, go out and vote today! Don't know where to go? The Internet has the amazing ability to find you all the information you want....
  • CNN has a great election race coverage application you can use! You can even download it to your phone(!) Here's my "Races" (if you live in Texas District 17 this would be yours too)
  • PBS is using UStream to to cover Election 2010. If you can't get to a TV, you can watch coverage here.
  • The Washington Post also covering the 50-state election through customizable location-based overviews. Check it out.
  • Don't know where to go to vote today?!? Google has created an Election Center. Go to it, upload your information and you will be shown where to vote, how to vote, and what you're voting on.

So, go vote! I did.
