I have the pleasure of getting to attend Wassailfest in my hometown of New Braunfels, TX, tonight. If you're unfamiliar with the Wassail, you really shouldn't be. It's an amazing winter drink that's super easy to make. I love Wassailfest because the whole town plaza is shut down, the Christmas lights are lit, and you get to walk around with family and friends while enjoying a beautiful winter night in the Texas Hill Country (tonight's low is 46 degrees... perfect weather to get bundled up but not be freezing). Wassailfest also gives us an excuse to go home for the weekend and visit both of our families. (C and I went to high school together, and our families live 20 minutes apart - it's really a perfect situation)
