#Reverb10 - 5 Minutes

December 15 – 5 Minutes
Imagine you will completely lose your memory of 2010 in five minutes. Set an alarm for five minutes and capture the things you most want to remember about 2010.

Dear self,

This year you grew up. You learned what it was like to gain 40 pounds, and how hard it was to lose 20 of them.

You learned how to sit at a desk, like a grown-up, and type away at a computer for 8 hours a day... but you also learned you get bored easily, so you wrote things {like this} to keep your mind occupied.

This year you learned that your marriage last year was the best thing ever, and that graduating college this year was awesome, but not as scary as you imagined.

You learned how to appreciate your family this year. You learned how to be alone as well. You didn't make too many friends, but you didn't lose any great ones either.

You successfully worked 2 jobs for a year. I think you deserve a pat on the back! Now, you deserve to pursue things we love doing... like writing this blog. Self... if you do read this, remember to just keep working toward being a happy adult. Don't settle for the boring life you may have been willing to settle for.

Also, talk to C- he's not as dumb as you want to think he is. He's right most of the time, and has good insight. So, talk to your husband, remember he actually cares about you - it's not just for show.

If you have any questions about this year - just read through these archives. Look at pictures of our nephew. And talk to the top 10 favorites on your phone, because they were there all year long.

Have a great 2011!

That felt good!
