Buzz: Paul Cezanne Google Doodle

Today's Google Doodle is nice, pretty, and kinda out of left field. Yeah, we got the Martin Luther King, Jr day doodle, and even the Dizzy Gillespie doodle made sense... but when I looked at today's Doodle, my first question was: who's Paul Cezanne? And it seems most people are thinking the same thing...

This article helps to explain who he is and how he helped change modern art. It quots The Guardian to explain about the artist:
"Beauty, stillness – but no calm. The fascination of Cézanne lies in the overwhelming emotion that threatens to explode at any second from the white rocks of a hillside, the steely imperturbability of a peasant's face. He is the first modernist and, as Picasso knew, the most liberating." (from The Guardian)
