Nathan-FillionThe day's top stories, bookmarked for all eternity...

  • Firefly fans, rejoice! The show's returning to cable! It's only the Science Channel, but hey... it's still out there for all to see. (And in this article, there's an interview with Nathan Fillion about Firefly!)
  • The new Wonder Woman was named today: Adrianne Palicki.That's about all I have on that story at the moment.
  • Lady Gaga launched Vogue's new iPad app with her March cover... and there may be a 3D movie in her near future.
  • It's here! The thing we've all been dying to learn about... when will Justin Bieber have sex? Or, at least, that's what Rolling Stone wanted to know (among other things, such as abortion rights) is its latest interview of the teen sensation.
  • And are you holding on, waiting for the very second that Britney's new music video comes out?!? Yeah, me either. But if you are... you only have to wait until 11 p.m. ET tonight for its premier on MTV. Here's 30 seconds for you....

So onto some politics... I haven't focused on that in a while....
  • The Texas Senate passed a bill that would require pre-abortion ultrasounds to be administered.

    "Women could choose not to view the sonogram image or listen to the heartbeat, but they would be required to listen to an explanation of the images, except in cases of rape or incest or if there are fetal abnormalities." {via}

  • The Obama stimulus turned 2 today.... and it's still just as controversial as it was at the start.
  • The new White House press secretary... Jay Carney... made his debut on Wednesday (which is a pretty scary gig). It's been reported that he showed he was nervous, but didn't make any mistakes. So we'll see how long this lasts.
  • The Alaskan Governor Sean Parnell said today that he "would not enact the federal health card overhaul after a judge in Florida struck down the law as unconstitutional." {via}
  • Iran submitted a request for 2 warships to pass through the Suez Canal... which put the new military Egyptian regime in a difficult spot between Iran & Israel.

And finally.... Libya protests spread brining deaths with it, and 4 were killed in Bahrain clashes in Northern Aftrican protests.... and there's clashes in Yemen. We're going to need to really keep our eyes on the Middle East as all these protests break out. I'll try to keep you as updated as possible.
