Erin J. has done a good job setting up the basics, but it'll be really fun making it "more professional"... plus I get to start building my resume!!
In case you're asking yourself "She designs blogs?" ... let me clue you in on my "life plan."
I want to begin a social media consulting firm, similar to the likes of Erin Blaskie and LivitLuvit, where local/small businesses can come to me, and get help on blog design and writing, Twitter profiles, Facebook pages, etc. I want to be the girl you can call when you need that little boost, but don't want to hire a full-on marketing firm to help you out. I'm also dabbling in business card and flyer design for Erin J. and assisting her in the local bridal show in a few weeks. I love being hired for not only my computer skills but also my charming personal skills ;-)
The long-term idea here is I will eventually be able to give up a traditional 8-5 office job to work on things I'm passionate about, and have the flexibility needed to work while having a family. (no, I'm not pregnant! I know at least 5 of you thought that instantly. Stop it!)
