5 o'clock happy hour: May 3, 2011

Sorry this is kind of late... C's car broke down on his way out of town, and I got to make a 3 hour round-trip detour after lunch. I sang my heart out to Adele while driving there, lost my voice while doing so, and ended up having an amazing afternoon, despite the fact that we now have a towing bill, and potential mechanic bill, on our future. But enough about me!

• Tony nominations are out, and the "Book of Mormon" leads the pack with 14 nominations.
• Yesterday 2 holes were blasted through the Mississippi River levees in Illinois, but now the fear is for down river. Specifically: Memphis.

• A June 3 hearing has been set in the St. Louis Court of Appeals to decide whether the ruling of District Judge Susan Richard Nelson, which directed the NFL to end its lockout, can stand. 
• This weekend's big movie is "Thor"... but with its release comes the question "Who is Chris Hemsworth?" (He's beautiful, that's for sure.)
