Brooke is a mom who first caught my attention with her Lady Gaga Gingerbread cookies at Christmas. Once I started looking around her blog, I fell in love with it. All of her recipes are kid-friendly, because her recipes focus on family-friendly food that's fun. I recently made her Chicken Pot Pie with Herbed Potato Crust which was a-m-a-z-i-n-g.
This blog is a little more adventurous, written by Kevin in Ontario, Canada, which features lots of asparagus (like this Asparagus and Gruyere Tart which I haven't had the courage to make yet). The recipe that got me to Kevin's blog was his Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese Sandwich, which I found on Pinterest. I just love the uniqueness of every recipe on the blog.
Val's a Southern California girl who likes to cook. I actually started following this blog to try to win a giveaway, and stuck around because I loved the recipes she posted in between other bits about her life. Her blog is full of healthy, fresh recipes like this Mozzarella, Tomato, and Avocado Salad (yum!) and adorable desserts like these Marshmallow Topiary Pops. A recipe that I've seen passed around a lot in the blog world, are these Watermelon Sherbert Cups which I can't wait to make for my family this 4th of July :)
Liz from Portland has a simple blog, with simple recipes that have an interesting twist (though don't ask me to explain that twist in words -- it's just part of her charm ♥ ) I first found her through another blog (sorry, forgot which one!) and was immediately intrigued by the Cookie Brittle recipe posted on her side bar. I've yet to make them, but I'm still dying to. And she just posted a Raspberry Filled Buttermilk Scone recipe that looks incredible... and that's why I stick around.
I discovered this blog when I went searching for Super Bowl recipes, and came across this Jalapeno Popper Dip recipe ... and then I found these Soft Pretzels with Jalapeno Cheese Sauce... and then these Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcakes ... and so on. You get the trend. I just kept looking more and more at all of the recipes that have been posted over the years, and kept finding more and more recipes I wanted to make. I think you'll think the same thing.
So go get lost in those sites. And send me some samples of whatever you make ♥
