Summer 2011: A Time for Change, Pt 3: Let's Get Started

I've officially started my 2011 Summer Goals by focusing first on #2: Get Healthy. And I'm kick-starting my weight-loss plan with the infamous Lemon-Cayenne Detox. I'm sort of nervous, but I've fasted in the past and know that I can make it. I am allowing myself raw fruits & vegetables during the next 10 days as well, since I read online that that's OK. (And if it's written online it must be true, right?)

So that's what I'll be doing. Most online sources all report that you're supposed to lose 10 pounds in 10 days, which would be a really nice start to this 10-week track I've put myself on.

Have you ever done this diet before?


  1. I've heard of people doing that before, and it seemed like it went ok. Way to go on setting goals and working on them!!

  2. I am trying to figure out what is going to get me going on my weighloss journey. I can't seem to stick to a diet lately. Maybe I will give this a try.

  3. I'd suggest taking a good multivitamin as well. Sometimes fasting diets can deplete your stored resources. Good luck!
