Fashion for a Tuesday: Dreaming of the Red Carpet

We're less than a week away from the Academy Awards. And while I'm super excited about the movies - my reviews of the Best Picture nominees are here - it's the fashion I am the most excited about! (duh!)

I've dreamed for over a decade now of getting all made up & attending Hollywood's greatest night. Walking along Angelina and Charlize like a princess. And thanks to Polyvore, I can dream up my perfect Academy Awards outfit.

And here it is...

I'd go all champagne-colored, with just a touch of dramatic color to grab the attention of the cameras. Not too much skin, but leave them with a little something. A cute, but simple clutch & simple jewelry that compliments everything else but doesn't take away from it all. And then the hair. I love the double headband, up-do, and know I'd wear my head high with beautiful curls falling out of it.

I'm getting excited just thinking about it! {And of course, you can't forget the Champagne}
