10 Things, Volume 11

Photobucket

1) In good news, my shoulder is finally healed! Only took 2 weeks. I'm ready to get back to pushups soon.

2) I've been taking my iPad to the gym & reading while on the machines. Not sure if I'm proud or ashamed of myself.

3) I get Saturday night to myself (!!) I love random nights alone to do whatever I want. (Hello wine, Gossip Girl & finally doing something with my nails ♥ )

4) My guy left me a cupcake yesterday with the cutest note I've ever seen....

5) If you missed it, I'm writing a life manifesto. Here's why.

6) For all you Hunger Games people: hope you enjoy the movie as much as I'm enjoying the soundtrack! (and PS - grab the soundtrack)

7) MAD MEN is Sunday!!! MAD MEN is Sunday!!! MAD MEN is Sunday!!! MAD MEN is Sunday!!! MAD MEN is Sunday!!! MAD MEN is Sunday!!! MAD MEN is Sunday!!! MAD MEN is Sunday!!! MAD MEN is Sunday!!! MAD MEN is Sunday!!! MAD MEN is Sunday!!! MAD MEN is Sunday!!! MAD MEN is Sunday!!! MAD MEN is Sunday!!! MAD MEN is Sunday!!! MAD MEN is Sunday!!! MAD MEN is Sunday!!! MAD MEN is Sunday!!!

8) And in honor of the start to a beautifully imbibed show, we're having my favorite mixed drink: a Manhattan.

9) I woke up Sunday morning ready to get back on the "diet" train. I've been taking some time off, because I was burnt out from this summer, but now I'm ready again.

10) So, I'm researching the Paleo Diet. Thoughts?

{Have a Great Weekend!}

bonus: only working until noon today since I worked late Monday.
awesome.

  1. cute note from your hubby!

    I haven't had a random night alone in ages. My hubby has a thing for planning a night out with his buddies when I am also out. He's a scammer. He needs to learn to make plans other times so that I can have the house to myself.

  2. Nights alone with no plans are the BEST! I had several hours last night alone, and I caught up on reality tv and my toes happen to be a very pretty purple now :) Also, I just started watching Mad Men! Love it!

  3. I walk and read with my Kindle every day. I love how it makes the time really fly by. Have a great weekend!

  4. What a sweet note from C. And yes - the paleo diet is great! I do it a little to some extent (cut out most breads, but I still need my biscuits in the morning), and it worked pretty well. My parents both do it as well, and my mom has never looked in better shape. I recommend it!
