From Juneau to Houston.

When your weekend starts with sushi on a Friday afternoon, you know you're in for a really good time. And that's where mine started. Sushi then Houston. That's how we do it down here. I added in a little Alaskan Wheat beer too. So now I can say I've had a beer from Juneau, Alaska. (And that I know how to spell Juneau.)

We went to Houston to see one of our favorite bands, Thrice, on their farewell tour. It was sort of sad. But before the sad, it was really fun. Almost too much fun. Like have bruises on my feet because I was stepped on so much, and my glasses are too loose now because a crowd surfer kicked them off & I had to catch them in mid-air, kind of fun.

And that was all on Friday.

Luckily, Saturday & Sunday were really low-key. In short: tacos, 4 hours of bocce ball, 4 hours of pool, loud music, a whiskey-tasting show down, cheese fries, wings, picture bombing, slight sunburning, and not enough water. And a breakfast pizza Sunday night was the cherry on top.

So now it's back to normal week-day routines. And I like that.

Happy Monday ♥
