So, I've been somehow successfully keeping a secret....

... but today is a special day & I can finally share the news:

I got a new job!!!

Today is my last day as an Administrative Assistant. On Monday I'll be starting my fancy new job as a Web Communications Specialist. I'll be getting paid to do web stuff. Writing. Editing. Coding. Design. Publishing. Consulting. etc. etc. etc.

I couldn't be more excited!!!

And I lucked out, because I'll still be in the same department at Texas A&M, so I don't have to meet anyone new. I'll already know everyone I'm working with. It may cause a little bit of confusion, but ultimately it makes the job a little less intimidating and I'll be able to jump in faster. 

I get my own office, with a window. (Something I've never had before.) A bigger paycheck. (Good for paying off those student loans shopping!) And I'll be getting lots of experience in a field that I'm passionate about.

There's no way I would have been offered this job if I didn't have this blog. It's motivated me, inspired me, and given me real-world experience in web communications. So, thank you for reading & supporting me here. ♥

And now I'm going to go & be giddy all weekend. Monday is a good day for me.
