This weekend started with a hair cut. Which, to go on record, I'll just say it: having your hair did for the weekend may be the best way to guarantee a good weekend. You just feel so good after getting your hair did.
So after that awesome hair did-ing, there was a wine & steak festival going on in Downtown Bryan, so we hopped over there Friday night & watched outdoor 20s movies, ate great street food & I dressed up in my new skirt from A Beautiful Mess's collaboration with Mod Cloth.
And then, as if that wasn't fun enough, I went garage sale-ing on Saturday morning, where I bought frames for a frame wall & proceeded to spray paint them, and then watch the Aggies beat Louisiana Tech barely, at 1 am, after a 5-hour-long-most-stressful-game-ever match up. Whew!
Sunday I definitely had a football hangover. (Which is not to be confused with an alcohol hangover. Very different things.) So we stayed as un-busy as possible. Which meant cooking new things from my new cookbook. (Of which I bought a few extra copies, wink wink)
And that's about all I can say about that. Because, today's my first day of my new job, and I'm super nervous & can't focus on anything.... Eek! ♥
