{Weekend Update Link up with Join the Gossip & Sami's Shenanigans}
1: The first weekend after a long holiday always seems like a much needed break -- no family, no stress, no travel. Just hanging out at home.
2: Friday marked the end of the Texas A&M Aggie Football season. (SAD!)
3: But it meant a huge win over OU at the Cotton Bowl (YAY!!) ... so if you have to go out, get your 11th win by beating a team you used to always lose to.
4: Because it was our last football game, C had to make chili. Also, a great way to go out.
5: Saturday morning we rested. I made a good meal, we watched some football.
6: And when C went to work Saturday night, I did what anyone else would do: updated my website. (I'm seriously like the most fun ever)
7: We did manage to get some fun drinking in Saturday night, though, while watching Rocky Horror (we're now officially the couple that practices our callouts from the privacy of our own home.)
8: Also see: late night taco run.
9: We also managed to go see Life of Pi. Oh how beautiful! I can't believe we waited so long. It was so visually magical.
10: Did I mentioned we slept a lot too? The bed's so warm & cozy during this time of year!
And now it's back to work. Hope you have a lovely week ♥

I loved the book for the Life of Pi, hopefully the movie lives up to my expectations!
ReplyDeleteI had to take a huge nap on Sunday because it was so cozy in bed.

They do a live version here and I've always wanted to go! Maybe I should make that a weekly resolution?
ReplyDeleteYou always make me hungry and thirsty with your IG pics. YUM! Happy Monday. Thanks for linking up :)
ReplyDeleteSleeping a lot is always a must on the weekend. And we made some chili too that was soooo tasty. I think it's just something that I always want to have during the winter time and during football season.
