Fall Bucket List // The End

Well, Fall 2013 is very quickly coming to an end. Unlike the summer, which was full of trials & testing of our faith, Fall was much kinder to the Powell household. We found a rhythm that had been missing for a while. And we've had so many great (albeit little) adventures along the way.

I've seen the idea for Fueled by Cocktails come to mind, and slowly but surely am putting that together. I've also been contacted by multiple people about possible freelance web development gigs. It's been a very rewarding season, one where hard work is starting to pay off. It's leaving me with a good taste in my mouth for the upcoming season & new year.

During my last Fall Bucket List Update, I went through what I had finished. In total, I did 8 of my 12 items on my bucket list. The few things I didn't end up doing were in part due to bad timing.

High school football games went without me even noticing. We tried to take the niece & nephew to the zoo, but C had a work emergency that made him five hours late to San Antonio. And Wurstfest was at the wurst worst time and for the first time in about seven years, I missed it. I have no excuse for not making the pumpkin spiced latte mix. But I think I may be over my pumpkin obsession.

Last night, I did manage to check one last thing off my bucket list. I had my amazing book club girls over for our last meeting of the year, and we sat out back around the fire. We ate chicken tortilla soup, and sipped hot chocolate. And laughed. It was a perfect end to the season ♥

Merry Christmas from my book club....
Leslie, Jordan, Meredith, Emily, me & Jessica (the good sport)

I hope you, too, had a great fall! I'm looking forward to winter...
